This bottle form was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain. The body was then altered. The piece was then assembled with a separately thrown neck added and a base, to complete the construction. Glazes were added in layers such as to suggest a sense of movement and depth in the surface. Gold lustre suggests a flash of sunlight on the surface.
