I 099 – tall vessel

This vessel was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain. A base glaze of celadon glaze is followed by further glazes brushed on – so as to interact in the long high temperature firing and  suggest movement and depth in the surface. A hint of gold lustre suggests a flash of sunlight on the surface.
