i 101 – bottle form

This bottle form/bud vase was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain.  A base glaze of celadon is followed by extra brushed glazes designed to interact in the kiln to give a sense of movement and depth in the surface. The gold lustre suggests a hint of sunlight on the surface.
