i 105 – deep bowl form

This quite large deep vessel was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain. After a base glaze of celadon, a number of other glazes are brushed on, designed to interact in the long high temperature kiln firing and thus produce a sense of movement and depth in the surface.  The fired-on pure gold lustre gives a hint of sunlight on the surface.
