i 108 – deep bowl form

This deep vessel was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain. A base glaze of celadon was followed by other glazes brushed on so as to interact in the long, high temperature firing and produce a sense of movement and depth in the surface. The pure gold lustre suggests a hint of sun on the surface.
