This bowl was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain and then modelled with soft and delicate slabs of porcelain clay.  After a base celadon glaze, other glazes are carefully brushed on, designed to interact in the long high temperature firing and produce a suggestion of movement and depth in the surface.
