vessel – spiral wave – I 028

This spherical vessel was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain. It was coated in a base glaze of celadon. Then other brushed glazes were added, designed to interact in the long high temperature firing to give a sense of movement and depth. This piece is part of my “single wave” series.
