Description
This small bottle form was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain, and a spiral was added into the form while still wet- intended to suggest movement. After a base glaze of celadon, further glazes were brushed on so that during the long, high temperature firing, they interact to suggest a sense of rhythm and depth.
