Tea bowl – I 080

This teabowl (japanese tsutsu-gata shape) was thrown on the wheel in fine porcelain and lightly spiralled. A base glaze of celadon was augmented with other brushed glazes which interact in the long, high temperature firing to enhance a feeling of depth and movement.  Pure gold lustre.
