large vessel I 066

This large vessel was thrown on the wheel by me, Roger Cockram, in fine white porcelain.  After the base glaze of celadon, other glazes are brushed on in layers. These are intended to suggest depth and movement. A modest inclusion of pure gold lustre is included. There is a background reference to the sea and coastline near my home and the gold refers to the evening sunlight rippling on the surface.   SOLD
