large lidded jar – I 086

This large decorative lidded jar was thrown by me on the wheel in fine porcelain.  After an initial base glaze of celadon, further glazes were brushed on, which were designed to interact in the long high temperature firing so as to suggest the depth and movement  of the sea and the foam at its surface.
